Frequently Asked Questions
How long are classes?
What does my membership include?
Click here to find out more about our membership offerings. We have x2, x3 or x5 classes a week options. All x2 classes per week + memberships include UNLIMITED access to In-Studio Digital reformer classes at no extra cost. Memberships also include priority booking access 3 weeks in advance. The schedule opens up to everyone 2 weeks in advance.
Can pause my membership, I'm going away!
We offer 8 weeks pause per membership year. Thats right 8 weeks! You can have your cake and eat it. Travel? No problem! We kindly request notice in writing 2 weeks beforehand so we have enough time to action.
What do I need to bring/wear to my workout?
We recommend you bring grip socks and a water bottle. We supply all equipment and Pilates Mats. You don’t have to carry this around! All reformer sessions must have grip socks as per our policy. We allow bare foot for matwork so you can feel grounded and get a good sense of proprioception (awareness of body in space).
What is Video-Guided (Digital) Reformer?
We offer video-guided (digital) reformer timeslots for you to enjoy. This is similar to using gym equipment, only you follow an online designed class, delivered through special screens. This allows you to choose from over 500+ workouts and tailor the length of your session (great if you only have 20-30 minutes!). These are self-guided and not-instructor led. There will always be a staff member in the Studio. We highly recommend you attend at least one of our instructor-led reformer sessions first before booking into these classes, so that you are comfortable with the equipment & springs + basic reformer principles. These require pre-booking as per any other class and are not 24/7 access. Our 12 hour Cancellation/rescheduling policy applies. Our x2/week and x3/week memberships include Unlimited access to digital reformer in-studio sessions.
Can I attend if I'm injured?
We require medical clearance post injury to attend our classes. These sessions are not ‘Physiotherapy’ and are designed for general population fitness in a group setting. However, our main instructor is also a Physiotherapist by background so when you obtain clearance to return, she will have utmost awareness and oversight of your injury. For attending classes with an injury that requires lots of 1:1 attention and individualisation, Private Clinical Pilates may be a better fit for you – we currently only offer this 1:1. Please contact us to discuss. Private Clinical Pilates is not included in memberships.
Do you see clients one to one? (1:1)
We have just launched our Personalised ‘Intro Offer’ which includes a complimentary one-to-one 30 minute welcome session + 4 classes to use within 2 weeks. In the Welcome 1:1 you will get to learn the reformer basics, names of parts, positions, spring settings and practice some commonly performed exercises. This will give you a great head start before you attend your group class. These are general movement teaching sessions and are not designed for specific guidance around injuries or rehabilitation. A private chance for you to ask all your questions in a supported 1:1 environment! This is designed for first-timers who have never done Reformer Pilates before and want a gentle ease-in before going to the group class setting.
If you are seeking 1:1 clinical Pilates for injuries treatment – this may be offered by our Physiotherapist via appointment and may be claimable by health-fund. Please call or email us to enquire about this option. Limited clinical Pilates sessions offered per month, based on availability.

Mums and Bubs Classes Questions:
1. Can I use my membership on Mums and Bubs?
2. Is it social?
3. How many weeks postpartum do I have to be to attend/how old does bub have to be?
1. Yes you can! For example, if you signed up for a x2 classes/week Core membership, you can use x1 of your weekly credits on the Mums and Bubs class. This would mean you can attend another class that week. This could be another Mums n Bubs or a class that isn’t a ‘Mums and Bub’s’ class, for example: reformer. We also offer Mums and Bub’s x5 Packs to cover your classes without a membership. If you have already bought another pack – these can be redeemed on these classes too but reach out to us and we can swap it.
2. Classes are not scheduled back to back so there is time to have tea after and connect with other mums! This is exactly what mums are craving in those postpartum months, I know I did!
3. We require medical clearance to attend if you are under 12 weeks postpartum. We highly recommend at least 6 weeks, however, we find at least ~8 weeks+ is the sweet spot. Around 12 months is our cut-off for the mums and bubs classes. Our Studio cancellation Policy is 12hrs.
Can I bring my kids and/or baby?
Can I turn up at any time or is booking always required?
Will you be offering more classes in lunch-times?
Do you offer Fitness Passport?
Which class is best for me? I have no idea where to start!
As part of our Personalised Intro offer we include a welcome 1:1 to help to get comfortable with the reformer and a chance to ask all your questions. This is not clinical pilates, rather an Introductory session. Please call us to discuss 1:1 Clinical pilates for injuries/rehabilitation which our Physiotherapist may be able to provide on an appointment basis. If you have never done reformer before, and want to book your first group class, start with our ‘Beginner Reformer’/ Intro class where we go over fundamentals and building confidence.
Matwork is also a great place to start where you can learn Pilates principles without the moving parts of the reformer. We offer Reformer – ‘Gentle Strength & Flow’ which is a slower pace, also great for beginners and popular with our 50+ community. You will feel instantly welcome and greeted with warmth. Our Pilates style is flowy and is designed to be non-intimidating, yet still strengthening. We welcome people of all abilities and really focuses on quality of movement, engaging deeper core muscles, while still giving more challenging options for those who want it!

Jen and all of her instructors are wonderfully attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and so lovely. The classes are small and intimate with personalised approach for you and your recovery. Jenn is also a physio so you know you are in good hands. Provided with lovely chairs and play mats for your baby to be comfortable and entertained throughout the class (also don’t worry if they are not, it’s a non judgment zone). The class ends with a beautiful meditation (if the babies are open to it) and a tea and chats with other mummas. What a beautiful place to be postpartum!Posted on Google Jennefer CleerenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love this place. Mind Flow Pilates is a wonderful studio with wonderful instructors. From the moment I took my first class I felt right at home. I know that the instructors are both qualified and caring - looking after each person in the class and ensuring modifications are available when required. I would recommend Mind Flow to anyone who is looking for a safe, inclusive, welcoming space to start or continue their Pilates practice.Posted on Google MadeleineTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The matwork classes are the perfect amount of burn and there is always lots of adjustment available to accommodate for injuries or push harder! Such a calm welcoming environment, absolutely love every session.Posted on Google 23lolface_roboci_astercrewTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started at Mind Flow Pilates on 31 March with the 3 class introductory special, and honestly I nearly wanted to cry just doing something good for myself. As a middle aged curvy mum, it felt like a big step in self care and being more aware of looking after me so I can be the best for those I love. In the first few weeks I could only manage one class a week, but I looked forward to every session. It’s only been 16 sessions and I am already so much stronger and more confident. At the beginning I needed balance poles, and now I don’t need them at all. I am now attending twice a week and aiming for three. My first class with Indali left my muscles fully activated and I could feel it for a few days, in the best way. I then moved into Jen’s Gentle Strength and Flow and felt the benefits both mentally and physically. I now mix up my sessions weekly. The way I am taught and encouraged at my own level, with a great mix of class options catering to all levels and amazing instructors, has made me not hate exercise. Jen is a local young mum who has created something really special at Mind Flow Pilates, a supportive, welcoming community that truly values feeling good and being strong. Her impact goes far beyond fitness. Don’t be scared to come and try it, the environment is so warm and welcoming and you will be better for it. Invest in yourself and trust in what Jen is building. I have felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. This has been the best gift I have ever given myself. Thank you Jen.
